A Meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Tuesday 5th April 2022 at 7.00 pm in Kettlethorpe Village Hall

3. MATTERS ARISING
3.1 Local Policing Issues – Police report not yet received (03/04)
3.2 Jubilee Park Play area
i. New Springies – To be installed by Easigrass, Laughterton
ii Soft pour tarmac – Make good soft play area - Easigrass
3.3 Highway Matters
i. Waiting response from LCC over footpaths and speed limits,
ii. Kettlethorpe Road – Bad workmanship on recent repairs. Some potholes untouched + verges not cut back, (referred to County Cllr Butroid by D/Cllr Ellis)
3.4 Solar Farms – Next stage under discussion. Meeting held Saturday; 19th March 2022.
Sir Edward Leigh to attend, possibly plus Parish Ccl Chairman
3.10 Queen's Jubilee event
i. Balloons, bunting etc (apply for WLDC grant).
ii. Church Walk – i. Quotes obtained for trees (Jez ) £120 / tree + vat ( inc: trees, irrigation, belting and spiral guard), total approx.: £2,250. Large tree guards, in metal at £4,200 incl: VAT and delivery. (Richard)
iii. Local gathering for Queen’s Jubilee (e-mail Mrs Alison Brownlow – circulated)
3.18 Christmas lights – Demonstrated last month by Richard using inverter, net of lights to be affixed to stand-alone light tree, mounted to a flag pole. Baubles to Christmas tree
3.19 Parish grass cutting – First cut - )
3.20 Domain e-mail addresses – See March minutes item 7.1 for recommendations
3.21 New Code of Conduct – 5 proformas to be returned to WLDC, (Jez)
3.22 New Parish Clerk – to change at beginning of September, 2 applications.
3.23 New Councillors – Four applications in hand
4. CORRESPONDENCE Items circulated during March to be distributed by e-mail.

6.1 All Round Gardens, grass cut – Invoice No 128 - £230 (VAT not charged)
6.2 PAYE and Salary – end March
6.3 Parish Accounts - Balance to year ending 31 March 2022 was £11,340.19 with an expenditure of £10,172.27 (bank charges levied £8 per month since December)

8. DATE OF NEXT MEETING This will take place at 7.00 pm on Tuesday 3rd May 2022 and will be the Annual Parish Meeting immediately followed by the AGM.
