A Meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Tuesday 1st February 2022 at 7.00 pm in Kettlethorpe Village Hall

3. MATTERS ARISING
3.1 Local Policing Issues – The Police Crime Report for January listed 4 x burglaries, 4 x thefts, 3 vehicle crimes, and 3 x criminal damages, but there were no reports for this Parish.
3.2 Jubilee Park Play area
i. New Springies – organise grant from landfill ?
ii Soft pour tarmac – organise grant from landfill or ask local builder (Catherine recommendation)
iii. Trees – trimming in hand with Jez, about 3 left
3.3 Highway Matters
i. Footpath/cycle path - What happened about footpath / cycle path to Newton and Torksey Lock? Mr Duncan Blades.
ii. Solar Farms ?
iii. Any progress on Kettlethorpe Road speed limit and footpath & Kettlethorpe Lane limit
3.10 Queen's Jubilee event
i. Richard (B) - fliers for street parties.
ii. Balloons, bunting etc ? Where from ? Do we use West Lindsey grant for this purpose ?
iii. Avenue of limes – apply for grant ?
3.11 Kettlethorpe village sign – Resident request,
3.12 Community Speed watch – Mr. Tony Scawthon
3.13 Annual Parish Dinner – venue and date
3.18 Christmas lights –
i. Chair to speak to Fenton Chairman
ii. Improvement ?
4. CORRESPONDENCE Items circulated during January were distributed to members.
5. PLANNING
5.1 Planning Application No. 144293 - for change of use of existing building from stables, workshop and stores to veterinary use and storage, Lodge Pines Marsh Lane Laughterton
6. FINANCE
6.1 Chairman – Replacement defibrillator pads and batteries – cost TBA
6.2 PAYE and Salary
6.3 Parish Accounts – The balance at the bank to month ending 31 January 2022 was £12,582.17 with an expenditure of £ 8,930.08
7. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION
7.1 Parish grass cutting – MKS not interested this year. Enquiries being made. 1st quote Stefan £2,940 including VAT. (MKS £2,503.80 including VAT)
7.2 Land heritage – Tree planting enquiry
